Event synopsis for ITIL V3 launch events
The launch of the ITIL Version 3 (V3) books will be a unique opportunity to hear from the Chief Architect and the whole author team on how ITIL will impact the business world. This day will be your opportunity to be involved with ITIL V3 and to really see how ITIL could drive your business forward in the future.
The day will be led by Sharon Taylor, ITIL V3 Chief Architect and Chief Examiner for ITIL V3 exams. Sharon will start the day off with an introduction to V3, looking at some of the reasons behind the new version and how this refresh project has involved the whole industry.
After Sharon you will then have the opportunity to hear from each of the author teams. These presentations will look at how the new books will take ITIL forward. They will focus on how the lifecycle approach to ITSM can lead to real business improvement.
Having looked at the books themselves we will then hear how the ITIL Qualifications scheme will develop for V3. Hearing from Chief Examiner for V3 and members of the ITIL V3 examiner panels will provide insight into the future of qualifications and how they will help you and your staff drive professionalism in IT Service Management forward.
The whole day will explore and help identify how ITIL V3 can have a positive impact on your business.
